Over the Rainbow Bridge

This game was made entirely by me in <48 hours as part of Ludum Dare 50.  The theme was DELAY THE INEVITABLE.

Dogs are one of life's greatest joys, and we cherish every moment with them.  Like all things, though, our time with them is temporary.  No matter how hard we try, even our wonderful companions will have to cross the rainbow bridge eventually.  All we can do in the moment is give them the best lives while they are with us, and try to delay the inevitability of death.

In this short game, follow a pup through his life as he remembers the love and hardship of growing old.  Collect bones, sticks, and naps while trying (perhaps vainly) to avoid worms, mites, and illness.
